PV Supernode features
Sitelogger – the controller monitors the operation and controls the operation of inverters in the plant. It directly cooperates with the telemechanics controller. It controls the active and reactive power of the installation, according to the commands received from the SCADA system used by the local Distribution Grid Operator.
Limited/zero-export – the controller cyclically takes information from the energy analyzer at the facility’s connection, while controlling the active power generation of the inverters. It controls in real time the outflow of active energy to the grid.
Zero import – the controller cyclically takes information from the energy analyser or meter at the facility’s connection and at the same time controls the process of discharging the energy storage so that no energy is drawn from the grid for the PV plant’s own use.
Reactive power guard – the inverter compensates for the reactive power at the connection to avoid charging for its consumption. This is particularly important in installations where a significant proportion of the active power is generated by the PV plant, which significantly alters the amount of active power drawn from the grid and thus – increases the tangent fi.
